Shell V-Power Nitro+ will serve as the primary partner for the No. 16 HMD Motorsports car driven by Australian rookie Tommy Smith in the 2025 INDY NXT by Firestone season.

Smith, 22, who comes to INDY NXT from FIA Formula 3, will compete with the two-time championship winning HMD Motorsports program in INDY NXT by Firestone, the official development series for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. The partner program will see the Shell V-Power Nitro+ brand take prominent placement with its globally recognized colors on Smith’s car, further solidifying the collaboration between the Australian driver and the global energy company.

Smith’s debut race in the 2025 INDY NXT by Firestone season will take place Sunday, March 2 on the Streets of St. Petersburg in St. Petersburg, Florida.
