Benjamin Pedersen continued his strong showing in the Pacific Northwest, as he led the second consecutive Indy Lights Powered by Cooper Tires practice session Saturday at Portland International Raceway.
Pedersen was tops at 1 minute, 3.9024 seconds in the No. 24 Global Racing Group with HMD entry. That was quicker than his session-leading lap of 1:04.4820 on Friday on the 12-turn, 1.964-mile road course.

Qualifying starts at 6:25 p.m. today and will be broadcast live on INDYCAR Live! and the INDYCAR Radio Network. The 35-lap race starts at 1:05 p.m. ET Sunday, with live coverage on Peacock Premium and the INDYCAR Radio Network.
Danial Frost was second quickest in practice Saturday at 1:03.9071 in the No. 68 HMD Motorsports with Dale Coyne Racing car, just .0047 of a second behind teammate and leader Pedersen.
Sting Ray Robb was third at 1:03.9404 in the No. 2 Sekady entry, followed by Andretti Autosport teammate and rookie Christian Rasmussen at 1:03.9790 in the No. 28 Road to Indy/Stellrecht car.
Championship leader Linus Lundqvist, who can clinch his first title this weekend, was sixth at 1:04.1026 in the No. 26 HMD Motorsports with Dale Coyne Racing car. Lundqvist leads Matthew Brabham of Andretti Autosport by 108 points with three races remaining and needs to leave Portland with a 109-point lead or greater to secure the championship.
