Benjamin Pedersen continued his dominance of practice sessions Saturday at the Indy Lights Music City Grand Prix, leading the morning session after he was the quickest driver Friday.
Pedersen’s best lap Saturday was 1 minute, 21.0820 seconds in the No. 24 Global Racing Group with HMD entry on the 11-turn, 2.1-mile temporary street circuit that includes two trips over the Cumberland River via the Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge on each lap. That was quicker than his practice-topping time of 1:21.8473 on Friday afternoon.

Matthew Brabham was third at 1:21.3932 in the No. 83 Andretti Autosport entry. This is the Indy Lights debut on the 11-turn, 2.1-mile temporary street circuit, but Brabham has experience on the bumpy, tricky layout by racing here in the Robby Gordon Stadium SUPER Trucks series.
Series points leader Linus Lundqvist ended up fourth at 1:21.4379 in the No. 26 HMD Motorsports with Dale Coyne Racing car. Danial Frost rounded out the top five at 1:21.4623 in the No. 68 HMD Motorsports Dale Coyne Racing entry.
Rookie Kyffin Simpson was unhurt in an incident in the closing seconds of the 40-minute session. Simpson’s No. 21 HMD Motorsports entry hit the tire barrier in Turn 11.
