Munoz, driving the No. 26 Dialy-Ser car for Andretti Autosport, recorded a two-lap average speed of 159.457 mph on the .875-mile oval. He's the series points leader and is coming off a runner-up finish in the Milwaukee 100 on June 15.

"I know I have a really great car," said Munoz, who turned two of his previous three pole starts into victory. "The car was really good in those two laps. But now, most importantly is the race. We have to be focused on the race."

Jack Hawksworth earned his fourth front-row start in six races with a two-lap average of 158.794 mph.

"It will be difficult to pass around here, so we'll have to see how it shakes out," said Hawksworth, who won the season opener at St. Petersburg in the No. 77 Schmidt Peterson Motorsports with Curb-Agajanian car.

Zach Veach in the No. 12 K12 car for Andretti Autosport and Jorge Goncalvez in the No. 4 Belardi Auto Racing car will be on Row 2.
