Salvador de Alba


Salvador De Alba joins Andretti Global for his second season in INDY NXT by Firestone after making his debut with Andretti Cape INDY NXT in 2024. The Mexican driver began his professional racing career in 2016 in the Super Copa Telcel series, earning Rookie of the Year honors that season. He then continued his success while racing in the Tractocamiones Freightliner and NASCAR Mexico Series, winning the NASCAR Mexico championship in 2021 and 2023. De Alba also recently became a five-time Super Copa GTM Champion, holding the 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 titles. He began his open-wheel racing career in 2022 competing in the USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tires series and placed third in the development series’ driver championship in 2023.
